Biography

Oyanka Cabezas is running circles in our cabeza after seeing her nude. Cabeza means “head” in Spanish, to which we say “si, por favor!”. Oyanka is a lovely brown-skinned actress who hails originally from Nicaragua where she began her career as an actress in the 1990s. She made her debut as an Indigenous Girl in the 1991 film Sandino. She took some time off from acting and returned to the medium behind the scenes as a wardrobe person. She worked on costumes in two feature films and did makeup for another one while also working on the wardrobe for a TV series called Contracorriente la serie (2012). While she now lives a quieter life behind the scenes, we are grateful that she went nude in one of her two acting roles (the only two that she has on her resume). In 1996 she landed the titular role of Carla in Carla’s Song where she plays a young refugee in Scotland who is struggling to get by on her own. She is lonely, depressed, and missing her family while also carrying the scars of war on her body and in her mind. It’s a lot! She means a kind Scottish bus driver who takes a liking to her. It’s not hard to see why. The two fall in love and in one of their tender love scenes, we get to see Oyanka Cabeza’s bazongas.
